Join us Sundays at 11:00 a.m. ET in person at the Waldorf School of Baltimore. It's cozy, welcoming, and easy to drop into. Or online via Zoom or YouTube. We also offer evening meditations every Tuesday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.

On Sundays and Fridays, we begin with a guided meditation that's easy to follow, no matter your experience. Then we share a short talk that speaks to real life: how to move through stuck emotions, shift unhelpful patterns, and deepen your sense of gratitude. Tuesday evenings are a quiet 30-minute sit to help you reset.

We teach yoga philosophy and meditation, tools that help people live with love, greater awareness, and happiness. You'll hear stories from many traditions, always rooted in the yogic understanding that lasting happiness is found within us, not outside of us.

Karma yoga is one of the core paths of yoga. It means selfless service. At the Awake Yoga Meditation Center, it's about showing up with an open heart and helping in ways that feel right to you, whether that's setting up chairs, greeting others, or offering your skills to the community. If you know marketing, you might help spread the word. If you're a writer or editor, you might help shape our books. There's no pressure. But for those who feel called, it becomes a powerful way to grow. Karma yoga helps us practice giving without holding back, not just here, but in every part of life.
-
We don't offer physical yoga classes or asana sessions. While movement can be a beautiful way to care for the body and steady the mind for meditation, our focus is on the inner practice: stillness, self-reflection, and spiritual growth.
The Faces
You’ll See
Whether you join us online or in person, you’ll notice familiar faces leading meditations and sharing spiritual talks. Some are spiritual teachers. Others are long-time karma yogis who help hold the space with love, presence, and care.
